Abstract

The school culture process begins with values, assumptions, beliefs, expectations, and ideas that have been collectively agreed upon within the school environment and subsequently will be endeavored and internalized by all its members through daily socialization so that these values become ingrained in the personalities of each individual, thus becoming cultural norms among its members. In this regard, the school principal (both at MINU Unggulan Sukorejo and MIN Kepatihan Bojonegoro) must first determine a variety of superior values that are collectively agreed upon to be established as a culture within the madrasah environment. Within this explanation lies a management approach in building the school/madrasah culture. The culture of the elementary madrasah has proven to provide its own identity for the madrasah and has an impact on shaping the students' personalities.
