THE APPLICATION OF AFFECTIVE TAXONOMY IN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS

Abstract

affective taxonomy discussesmastery of the affective domain in terms of moral aspects shown through children's feelings, values, motivation and attitudes. the affective domain is very important to pay attention to because it has an impact on a chil's character and character development. the autor took this theme starting from practical aspects in the world of education regarding the urgency of character formation and cultivation life. a child whose affektive aspect are well developed from the family environment, in the process of theaching and learning activities will have the implementation of good attitudes in carrying out theaching and learning activities at school and carrying out various activities outside of school. so thaht students whose mastery of the affective domain is strong will have a good social life, good character, and be able to handle critical situation wisely. this research is aliterature review reseaech with the primary object, namely how to apply affective taxonomy to shape the character of students. in the data collections process, the method used is the library study method which consist of several stages, namely data collections, critism, interpretation and writing. it is hoped that this research can become a reference in children's  learning procesess not only in the school environment but also in the family environment regarding shaping children's character through the stages in the affective taxonomy.
