The journal aims to promote rigorous Research that contributes to theoretical development, methodological innovation, and empirical understanding of Islam in both classical and contemporary contexts.

The journal publishes original Research articles that examine Islam as a religious tradition, intellectual heritage, and lived social reality. • Islamic theology, philosophy, and intellectual traditions
  • Islamic law (fiqh) and its transformation in modern societies
  • Islam and politics, governance, and public policy
  • Islam and social change, community development, and civil society
  • Islamic education and transmission of religious knowledge
  • Islam, culture, and local wisdom in diverse Muslim societies
  • Gender, identity, and minority issues in Muslim contexts
